Submit Your Event
The purpose of the calendar page and on air spots is to inform WAFT listeners of community events; church and non-church related. We are receiving so many announcements that we have implemented these guidelines:
1. All events posted must be in keeping with the philosophy and/or the mission statement of the station
2. Events will be posted on the calendar page at no charge.
3. Due to the volume of announcements, there is no guarantee they’ll be mentioned on air.
4. Postings remain until the day of the event, for a maximum of 30 days. If the event is on going or you want it posted for a longer period of time, it must be resubmitted.
5. Announcements sent to us at the last minute (the week or day of the event) will not be posted. They may get an on air mention, but again, no guarantees. We prefer to receive announcements 2 weeks in advance.
Often times, we receive requests for special events to be mentioned numerous times on-air. Special promoting of events is available.
