Celebrate Recovery Valdosta
A Christ-Centered Recovery Ministry

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step ministry based on the Bible. We meet every Monday at 6pm at CrossPointe Church and seek to  be a community resource to all. In addition to help with recovery from drugs and alcohol, anyone with a hurt, habit or hang-up can find hope, encouragement and a safe place to deal with their struggles. We are a non-profit organization, reaching the children of Clinch County with a meal and a message.

Offering shelter and hope to unwed pregnant girls

Lifehouse Maternity Home is now offering "Earn While You Learn," a program offering Boutique Bucks. Join parenting classes, Bible studies, etc and earn Boutique Bucks! These bucks can be used at the boutique to buy baby clothes, maternity clothes, food, baby supplies, and more. They also offer job training, a fatherhood program, and tutoring.

Living Bridges Ministry

We are a group of Christians from several area churches who are answering God’s call to serve a neighborhood in South Valdosta!

What we do:

Kids’ Connection, our Vacation Bible School at the park, runs for 8 Saturdays during the months of June, July, August and September.

Transformations helps people transition out of poverty and into self-sufficient living.

Mustard Seed Cottage, Inc

A maternal supportive housing residence for women ages 18 and older.

MSC is an upcoming home for women facing unplanned pregnancies who find themselves homeless and with no support.  It will be a home filled with love, safety and Biblical principles.  The “housing program” is offered to help women set and reach goals throughout their pregnancy and up until their baby is 18 months old.  Skills such as parenting, pre-natal and breastfeeding will be offered as well as job skills and cooking skills.  Financial management, tutoring and Bible studies will also be part of the program.  Counseling and supportive meetings will be provided as needed.  MSC is here to offer a hand-up and not a hand-out.  For more information or to have someone come and speak to your church, small group, or civic group please contact us at 229-921-5966.

Established in 1979, Penfield Christian Homes is a ministry of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board with three campuses in Georgia: two male and one female. Penfield is carrying out its mission to "Reclaim Alcohol and Drug Addicted Men and Women Through Christ and Christian Love.” 

Penfield offers a six-week professional residential treatment program to reclaim the lives of adult men and women suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol. They also provide family education and aftercare support groups.
